Do you believe the Detroit Pistons should have fired their coach Michael Curry? Why or why not?

On June 30, 2009, the Detroit Pistons fired their coach Michael who only coached one season and brought the Pistons to a record of 39 wins, 43 loses and making the NBA Playoffs as the eight spot in the Eastern Conference only to lose to the Cleveland Cavilers in the first round.
Do you believe the Pistons made the right decision to fire Curry as the coach or do you believe they should have let him coach a second season?

Depends who they replace him with.
I still found it odd that they fired Saunders.
We dont know what kind of direction the Pistons are heading.

Yeah, he made the wrong decision by putting their team leader on the bench and then not even telling him privately. He lost all the respect of the players. There was no way he could coach them successfully another season. Last season was a disaster. They didn’t even deserve to be in the playoffs.

They should hire Avery Johnson.

Not like it’ll matter, who will want to coach this sorry team now?

Yes..He is a rookie coach that can not handle the players. Plus, he is a pus*y cause he did not have the guts to bench AI, but had the guts to bench Hamilton…if AI was bench earlier, hte team would have been better
